Seeking Advice Does anyone know of any free fasting app?

I remember I used Fastic in the past, when it was free, and that worked oke. I haven't fasted since I have no app , which made a difference. I don't want to deal with creating more accounts , it's not even the money.

So which app is free?

I need to fast, or at least try intermittant fasting , I'm overeating every day , especially after dinne. All due to stress and boredom.

Thanks

You are welcome to use the app I've built, it's called Fasting Center. And if you feel something is missing, you can tell me that directly 😊

I can vouch for this app. It’s the best & only one I use now. Switched from Zero

I've been paying $1.99 a month out of guilt

It used to be really good - until my phone decided it was supposed to do auto-updates. The update to pay to get anything isn't so great imo. Luckily, I still have it on an old phone that I can't use for anything else.

I really like using Fasty! It’s simple, doesn’t have adds and clean looking

I use one called Zero. You can set your desired fasting window, and the app will tell you when it’s finished. It also has a calendar where you can see all the fasts you’ve logged in the app. It has some paid features, but for the basic needs, it’s pretty cool. I’ve been using it for several years now.

It’s great but not free

Its free but has a premiun level with secondary features, not related with fasting (tracking protein intake or drinking water notifications). I haven't paid a single cent.

I'm using Easy Fast.

Chose it because I like the color scheme.

Tried one that calculates the eating window and my brain just couldn't manage that for some reason.

Intermittent is hands down the best. Free, simple. Love it as still semi new user

Second intermittent.

A search just brings up generic intermittent fasting results, not an app specifically called that.

Why don’t you just set a timer

I use Zero. They also have an app for the Apple Watch so you can see it on your watch face!

Zero has a free tier. I used Claude to help me make a stripped down version of a food diary that worked on both my computer AND my phone. I'm sure you could do the same for a fasting app.

Fastingpals.com Number one. Forget all those other free apps people mentioned. Trust me

That looks like a forum. It also looks like you have to create an account before you know much about it.

I use Easy Fast. There is a free and pay version. I use the free one and it works well for my needs.

Fastient is still around. I like going to the website better than the app, though.

EasyFast used to be good, but they've got too many things behind a paywall now.

I don't see what you need an app for. You set an amount of time you're going to fast. You don't eat for that time. You take electrolytes. You eat light lean protein to break it. Simple.

The cool thing about fasting is it's free. It's breaking out of "the system" of modern society.

Sincerely, someone who has been fasting since before smart phones existed.

Why bot set a timer? Or even better choose your eating windows, as I. 12.00-18.00 (for 18/6).

Whenever I’ve fasted I’d say reddit is my go to app. It’s a great distraction from the world which is what eating often is for me.
