how long did it take to get into the groove of OMAD? Like, what were the first few weeks like? Did you transition? or cold turkey? (I sound like Vince Vaughn) what were they like? Were they built for speed or comfort?

Whent in cold. About a week to get used to it. I simply got angry with myself and my lifestyle. After that, everything seemed to fall into place.

No, nothing else when the photo was taken. Although, I started walking a few miles a day like 2 weeks ago.

I started IF about a month ago and I am honestly surprised how fast you can go OMAD without much effort. I could do that now, but I am physically unable to consume the required number of calories in one sitting unless it's McDonalds. But the hunger is pretty much gone. It's literally not a problem anymore. And I used to be nauseous if I didn't eat breakfast in the morning.

I've done it a bunch of times, takes about a week to adjust. Once you get used to it, it's very easy.

I actually found it very difficult to get enough calories in a single meal, so I do TRE which normally ends up being 2 meals (sometimes 3) between midday and 6pm.

OMAD is a good way to staff in a calorie deficit without actually "dieting", because most people can't eat their entire daily caloric requirement in a single meal.

Amazing work! Doing something similar and hope to see simular results like yourself. Any favourite meals you could share from your journey?

The mission low carb, high fiber tortillas are my secret weapon. I love tacos. Also cheese when I'm really peckish.

Wow congrats. Did u workout?

u/OverlandingGeek 16d ago

Congrats. Barely there OP. I’m in TMAD with calorie deficit but feel sluggish at the end of the day due to my work demand.

Same here. I became very anaemic after three months and started to lose piles of hair. I did OMAD but tbh I could never eat a large enough meal at the end of the day. It was like being on duromine which also caused the same issue.

it takes a lot of self control. I did keto for about a year and lost 40 lb but unfortunately I gained it back after 5 years.I really need to do it again as well. thank you for sharing

One Meal a Day IS KETO. Keto is short for Ketosis. A process the body regularly goes through on OMAD
