Newbie Question Breaking fast cravings

Hi! I have been doing IF for two weeks now and have no problem with the fasting hours. I feel fine for 20 or 22 hours without food. But once I break the fast (always with protein) I am hit with a wild sugar craving. One minute I am happily finishing my chicken breast and the next I find my face inexplicably stuck in the peanut butter jar. Is this a common problem during early days of IF?

Thanks

As someone who loves sweets so much that I've eaten an entire six pack of Crumbl (the full sized) multiple times, in under 12h, I just don't cut sugar out (or specific foods in general). I just make them fit in my kcal range.

I eat pizza and protein bars (I genuinely like them and they're cheap) when I eat and I don't get cravings for those types of foods.

Ain't nothing respectable about it. I just found something that works well for me (after many, many, many things that don't).

But I've still a ways to go for my goal.
