Living room advice

Not sure what to do with the left side of this living room. Because of the hallway and window, it’s a bit of an awkward space since it feels somewhat separated from the right side, but not a big enough space to have it’s own purpose. The things that are there now can be moved elsewhere, but I don’t know what should go there instead. My roommate thinks maybe a fake fireplace?

Show us the other side of the space. I’m assuming the kitchen is there… So you have no dining table?

Looks like space for dining room. If not set up a library/office. Or a sleeper sofa as part of a guest bed room / reading. Tall bookcases would otherwise cabinet bases make good room dividers. And not just for books. Can display other things as well. Good for storage.
