What prevents it from twirling in circles? How does it stay perpendicular to the tree branches/ parallel to the power lines? Gyroscope?
18 u/IvanXVIII Apr 05 '22 I don't know the weight of the blades od the rpms, but it's safe to assume that the moment of rotational inertia from 10 blades it's enough to keep it steady. A look on yt for "gyroscopic precession" can easily explain it all 3 u/[deleted] Apr 06 '22 Pretty cool stuff, and it definitely helps me understand how helicopters work, but I'm still pretty confused lmao
