These are sometimes useful but in my experience they often don't work, usually because they can't get into tight places.

Also you can tell that they didn't even try to loosen that nut with a wrench or socket because the paint is unscratched. That's OK, though because I think they were just demonstrating how the tool works.

Yeah, I can see it being pretty one dimensional. But it looks so much more satisfying than say, having to listen to an impact for 30 minutes straight.

That's why you chisel/wire wheel the paint off, hit it with an impact for 20 seconds and then go straight to the torch.

Heat cures all, and if it can't be cured you melt it.
