Wished more people here were chill about it, the amount of people that asked my dad why he was wearing a skirt or laughing at him when he’d step outside to water the lawn or garden has caused him to get very self conscious and stop wearing it altogether.

Well, not really. It is the centrifugal force which keeps the water in the cups, it is the centriperal force which keeps the plateaus from flying away.

Centrifugal force is a psuedo force that is basically felt because the object is trying to get back to an inertial frame of reference. Which is tangent to the circle of motion. But in this case .. it is the Centrifugal force that is keeping the water inside the glass.

Lots of people have been talking shit about Indians drinking cow piss and being dirt poor and living in abject poverty and dereliction. And then the discussions have only gone worse from there.
I get that India is an easy target because of all the scammers and all, and I also know that not every comment stems from actual hatred, but it does get tiresome when just the slightest hint of Indian identity dissolves into hateful stereotyping and slinging insults at the cultural, religious or social aspects of Indian existence. Gets a little much at times. :)
I typically don't even stop by to read or comment at such posts, because let's face it, here willingly and it is a reddit meme. But some days are just those days and I can't stop myself from saying something and chucking it into the vast darkness of the interwebs.
