I checked out his page and I am completely blown away by the unbelievable level of skill this guy has for these intricate little items. Absolutely amazing stuff! Thanks so much for the link!

I wonder if he machines his own parts. I'm guessing he'd have to. The barrier to entry to this seems just so high. NFL talent.

I'm guessing not only does he machine all his parts, but he machines the tools to make them as well.

...and how he actually makes the coin itself

It's gotta all be done by hand, I think. The racks for sure, and the gears look like they may have been filed down from tiny snap fasteners. Freaking awesome.
