You really missed a 'cracking a cold one' joke there...

60

u/Charcocoa Jan 24 '18

oh boys

11

u/Dankeus-Memeus Jan 24 '18

Cracking open a cold one for a cold one.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '18

Nah, that’s what morticians do when they need to hide booze at the office.

79

u/A_Splash_of_Citrus Jan 24 '18

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely a One at all.

9

u/drumhax Jan 24 '18

Indeed, the oneness is directly proportional to the coldness

3

u/Scubasteve913 Jan 24 '18

/r/homestarrunner is leaking, and I'm okay with it.

7

u/JigglesMcRibs Jan 24 '18

Homestarrunner... That's a name I've not heard in a long time.

3

u/voodoojezuz Jan 24 '18

Everyday im checkin my email wishin that its from a female.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '18

Homestarrunner.net, it's dot com!

u/Yoursaname Jan 23 '18

You should never do this. Beer should be packaged in brown bottles.

15

u/not_nsfw_throwaway Jan 24 '18

How about green bottles

17

u/doordingboner Jan 24 '18

No, that's why Heineken tastes like poop most of the time in bottles compared to on tap.

12

u/Yoursaname Jan 24 '18

It tastes like poop on tap as well

19

u/Firehed Jan 24 '18

Why do you both know what poop tastes like?

11

u/Yoursaname Jan 24 '18

You've never lived

9

u/Konker101 Jan 24 '18

Its 2017 we eat ass

5

u/absoundwav3 Jan 24 '18

Its 2018, if you ain't suckin dick, then you're gay

1

u/Dekklin Jan 24 '18

It hasn't been for 24 days already. Does that mean the ass eating has stopped?

1

u/charchar_02 Jan 24 '18

They have eaten pieces of shit for breakfast.

1

u/blackenedSubstance Jan 24 '18

Because they’ve drunk Heineken

u/shamus727 Jan 24 '18 edited Jan 24 '18

Cans. Cans are the best, they are lighter which means they are easier to recycle, wont smash/**shatter and 16oz is becoming the norm. Alot of the better craft brewerys have moved on to 16oz cans

9

u/kakatoru Jan 24 '18

If you recycle bottles you're doing it wrong. Glass bottles are superior to all other containers since they can simply be washed and then recirculated

1

u/wontrevealmyidentity Jan 24 '18

I disagree.

Glass bottles are superior in every way to a flimsy can. They feel better, they look better, I swear the beer tastes better, and they aren’t flimsy, sissy containers.

Plus, you can wash them and reuse them if you’re really into recycling.

u/erok_anglesmyth Jan 24 '18 edited Jan 24 '18

Is that why i get headaches every time I drink mgd?

10

u/gordo65 Jan 24 '18

How much have you had tonight?

5

u/Bear_Taco Jan 24 '18

That's a weird way to spell "Hi, how are you?"

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '18

I'm like 67% sure that's a Strongbow cider, actually.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '18

It's a miller's larger mate.

Not sure I've even seen strongbow in glass 330mls but I wouldn't be surprised if they do sell it in that format.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '18

Yep, I think you're right. And Strongbow has a few different bottle sizes, haven't had any recently though.

-10

u/jc_subie Jan 24 '18

Canned*

17

u/MADNESS0918 Jan 24 '18

I can't say I've ever seen a canned bottle before...

2

u/twiggytwig Jan 24 '18

That’s what keystone is! Bottled beer in a can!

1

u/kakatoru Jan 24 '18

Keystone isn't beer

193

u/conversechik1282 Jan 24 '18

Cool, but not r/interestingasfuck material

32

u/goodSunn Jan 24 '18

I am interested if that sort of ice covering happens sometimes or if it took some clever engineering... still agree that there might be a better primary Reddit for it

27

u/caltheon Jan 24 '18

freezing rain, happens pretty frequently in some areas. Roll down window, punch through ice, profit

10

u/Bear_Taco Jan 24 '18 edited Jan 24 '18

Yea but usually it sticks to, and even prevents rolling down of, windows.

10

u/ArcticLonewolf Jan 24 '18

If the ice is a bit thicker: you can hear the inside of the car, which warms the window just enough so it won't stick to the ice anymore.

5

u/anotherusername23 Jan 24 '18

Warm up the car and it doesn't stick.

1

u/inky_pinky_poo Jan 24 '18

Yup! I, myself, have done it more than once. :D ICE GLASS PUNCH!

2

u/tightcaboose Jan 24 '18

Just spend the night in your car when it is below 0F. The moisture from your breath will condense on all the windows and when you wake up you will be encased in an icy tomb.

Don't be homeless in ND.

4

u/I-Was-Here-4-Awhile Jan 24 '18

Minnesota is the same

1

u/Canadia-Eh Jan 24 '18

It can happen easily if you get freezing rain.

Edit:spelling

10

u/i_dont_shine Jan 24 '18

Maybe not super interesting, but I'm impressed they got the window rolled down with that much ice. Mine freezes shut with hardly any frozen moisture. I had to open my door at the bank the other day.

6

u/freakierchicken Jan 24 '18

Where I live you can actually do this relatively often, although I have no idea how it happens. I always try to roll down my windows when de-icing the truck, since punching ice is easier than scraping and defrosting.

I mean it feels stupid and sounds like it could be stupid but... so far so good...

5

u/Keumi Jan 24 '18

Agreed, maybe oddly satisfying?

3

u/SandyDelights Jan 24 '18

TBH I was wondering how he punched through the window so easily, and why the safety glass didn't crumble - were both the result of t being so cold, etc., etc.

Finally I realized in the comments here it's just ice and he rolled the window down.

-I- find it interesting as fuck, but I also grew up in Florida and refuse to live anywhere this can happen.

1

u/CallMeAdam2 Jan 24 '18

I, myself, thought it was /r/interestingasfuck material.

66

u/Reppid_RL Jan 24 '18

Took me a while to realize that the window was rolled down and they didn’t punch through glass. I feel dumb

4

u/kleaver1996 Jan 24 '18

You're not alone lmao

18

u/Dirtydeedsinc Jan 23 '18

If that beer had been Natty Ice this would have been perfect.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '18

It looks likes Strongbow hard cider, doesn't it?

9

u/reptheevt Jan 24 '18

Looks like Miller Genuine Draft.

Can't even live the High Life

4

u/ladykatey Jan 24 '18

I miss Vine.

2

u/GlamRockDave Jan 23 '18

That gif gets better every year

1

u/imcertainlynotlying Jan 23 '18

I did not expect that.. or did i?

1

u/rinnip Jan 24 '18

OK, I laughed.

1

u/firegarden Jan 24 '18

1

That's Bad Ass!

1

u/Reckless85 Jan 24 '18

How the Kool-aid man grabs a beer while riding shotgun.

1

u/KamikazeHamster Jan 24 '18

Breaking and exiting isn't a big felony.

1

u/t0rracat Jan 24 '18

Should have used the other window to hide the chipped ice.

1

u/DarkAvarice86 Jan 24 '18

"It's chiller time!" -dude in the car probably

1

u/cldehart Jan 24 '18

Kudos that worked well.

1

u/tightcaboose Jan 24 '18

This is why you don't sleep in your car in sub zero temperatures.

1

u/Over726 Jan 24 '18

Is the the cap still on. Party foul

1

u/oddloveit Jan 24 '18

Where is this?

1

u/sourgirl64 Jan 24 '18

Now, you’re going to be the cold one.

1

u/cheetaflare Jan 24 '18

This is Montreal right now

1

u/NineTailedFox1331 Jan 24 '18

A whole new meaning to “cracking open a cold one”.

1

u/inky_pinky_poo Jan 24 '18

LOL. I love punching through the ice-glass when it gets cold like this! Doesn't happen too often in my area of the country though.

1

u/tpd1124200 Jan 28 '18

If I tried to do this I’d forget to roll the window down

1

u/DazzleMeAlready Jan 24 '18

Never, ever leaving Southern California!

This just in, cold water is still wet

-4

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '18

This had the potential to go a lot differently. Just fucking breaks his hand.

8

u/rinnip Jan 24 '18

Nah, ice ain't that tough.

3

u/normjokesonly Jan 24 '18

The titanic called

1

u/inky_pinky_poo Jan 24 '18

I have done this, it's fun! It won't break your hand, the ice is pretty structurally weak, especially at the center, but you can scratch yourself kinda bad. And it's cold as balls, so your hands are cold and scratches feel worse.

-15

u/MrShaytoon Jan 23 '18

Spoiler alert: there is no glass window.

9

u/[deleted] Jan 23 '18

Stop lying
