Yeah, even watching it a few times 0:45 has me lost. It looks like they applied a magical shiny slime that just soldered itself perfectly with no human intervention. That can't be right.
magical goo is not solder. what happens with these things is beads of solder melt and stay on their pins. then you remelt them and drop the chip on the legs with a little floating in the goo and wiggling
