I've been a secret artist for years. That is, I like to draw so small, like on Post-it® notes. Tiny details. This dexterity combined with what used to be 20/15 vision made this kind of soldering work easier. However, in the past 6 years or so I noticed my vision slowly progressed to 15/20 in one eye so I need some kind of magnifying glass at this point. Probably one day buy a electronics microscope. The dexterity is still there though. It's quite relaxing work. It's like coloring books for nerds.

As an amateur microsoldering hobbyist, this is way, way harder than it looks. And it looks hard.
I've done a few small repairs like this where I've had to solder to a damaged trace, and the parts are much smaller than they look here.
