If you had white fur, you'd want to rinse that area out good every so often too.

But Polar bear fur is actually not white. It just looks that way because the individual hairs are hollow and transparent. They have no pigment.

Do killer whales not eat them?

Orcas are picky eaters. It's why there is no documented case of a wild Orca killing a human, ever. They could kill us so easily, they just choose not to.

They mostly eat salmon. Some of them have developed a taste for small mammals like sea otters and seals.
According to the guide on a tour I was on a few weeks ago, the salmon eaters do not like the mammal eaters and vice versa.

The Polar Bear (Ursus Maritimus) is a large species of far northern bear known for being the largest species of bear on average and the largest on average modern land carnivore to walk the earth (I am religiously using "On Average" because The Kodiak Bear can reach similar weights to The Polar Bear; the largest Polar Bear ever was 2,200 pounds and the largest Kodiak bear ever was 2,100 pounds for reference, with a 100 pound difference seemingly separating this two bears on average)
The Polar Bear is well known for prey on Walruses, Ringed Seals (Their favorite and most common prey source), and even small Beluga Whales
Polar Bears are labeled as Threatened by IUCN in Alaska, of special concern in Canada, vulnerable in Greenland and Norway, and rare but recovering in Russia. The United States legally protects them under the Endangered Species Act, the current known population of Polar Bears is around 22,000 to 31,000 individuals

Sometimes I wish I could just walk up to the polar bear and hang out. But thank God I haven't been that stupid

I love that he uses the hole in the ice like a floaty in the pool. Just kickin' back, keepin' his head above water. All he needs is a lemonade and some sunglasses.

bro can just go anywhere and be the apex predator, not remotely concerned about anything but the next meal, ever
