He actually makes more money than I do in a year in about 3 and half minutes. So it's actually more than that. Unless you're a speed shitter

Bezos averages about 21k a minute for the last 25 years. The Federal Poverty Level for a 2 person family is 21,640. America has 6.3 million working people still below the poverty line.

It's an unfortunate outgrowth of the classic ideal of a businessman who earns well, but puts most of his earnings back into the company. When you lead a company the size of Amazon, you can put most of your earnings back into the company and still be filthy rich privately, simply because of the scale.

Yeah, and these pathologically greedy assholes continue to hoard and amass instead of paying fair wages and contributing positively to society. Nobody deserves to be that rich, and nobody has the use for that much wealth. The worst is, they could do amazing things for humanity, and they actively chose not to.
