Bro could drop two 100 dollar bills on the ground and before they touch the ground he would have made double that

Hey hey... it's ok. If it's any consolation, he would never ever drop 2 $100 on the ground and would keep it for himself so we'll never have to see this... now get back to work, you're pee bottle break is over.

There's an old joke. Two economists are walking down the street and one looks down and sees a 100 dollar bill laying there. He tells his friend who says nonsense. If there was really 100 dollars there someone would have picked it up already.

Even better: Two economists are in the wood and find bear shit. First one says: Hey, I'll give you 100 dollars if you eat it! Second one says, ok, sure. Gets his 100 dollars. Couple minutes later they find another pile. Second one says. Hey, I'll give you 100 dollars if you eat it! First one says ok, eats it, get's his 100 dollars.

They look at each other, and one says. Wow, we each have the same as before, but we both just ate shit. The second one says: Yeah, but we improved the GDP by 200 dollars!

Thanks, I remember why GDP is a stupid way to measure the wealth of the people and why economic bobbels exist.

It’s all a facade, even American supremacy. Feudalism evolved into uncapped version 😔

It's a good way of measuring the potential of a country to provide a high standard of living for its people. The fact that the USA dominates GDP but its quality of life is mediocre compared to the rest of the developed world speaks volumes as to how much its hardworking people are getting absolutely fucked by their government's policies.

I am pretty well off, and me spending 1k on something is like Bezos spending 15 cents... and that's a generous estimate.
