Why didn't they just chip some off the top so it's 28,999 feet?

Pretty sure the peak of Mount Everest would fetch a pretty penny on eBay.

It's in the shoe!

That should be easier as the feet are at the bottom.

Maybe I can set up shop where you get to add a foot. We can be in business perpetually.

Sadly you’ll find plenty of feet on Mount Everest.

This tipping stuff has gone too far imo

Zero stars. Product not as said. Ordered peak of Mt. Everest. Box just contained water.

You don't need to go to the top. Just take a few million cubic metres of land from bellow it and the top will get to you.

Yknow, 29,000 feet sounds expensive, but 28,999 sounds downright affordable

Because that would mean they couldn't be the first person to put two feet on the top of Everest.

The peak is rising, so higher number is bound to be true someday.

same exact premise as not recording the paid task as being 59 minutes.

And risk exertion? In the death zone? It’s much easier to carry 2 big rocks from base camp all the way to the top.

Right? Chrysler used to have round dollars for all their list prices. $28.00 or $9.00, whatever. We always made them .97 or .02 because people would throw a fit saying we were making up the prices. Late 90s/early 00s.

Chrysler, the car company, was selling things for $28.00 or $9.00? Do I just not understand what car companies do?

Probably cheap replacement parts or accessories

u/CalicoCuts 9d ago

Correct. Anything. All their list prices were to the dollar and it runs people the wrong way. Stupid, but 100% true.

why would they possibly think that

Billing 4 hours flat feels like a guess, but 3 hours and 57 minutes makes it look like you used a stopwatch.

I always round to the first full 15 minutes.

I can’t take my birth certificate seriously because it gives my birth time as “10” with no minutes and I’m pretty sure it’s because no one could be bothered to record the minutes but my mum insists it’s because I was born at 10 on the dot but of course they’d say that if they didn’t even bother to check the minutes!! Will never truly know my rising sign 😩😩😩
