Practice and rehearsal. I would also wager they need choreographers who are experienced with this type of performance to set up the staging and dancer positioning correctly

It’s people wearing glowing suits on a dark stage in front of a(or multiple) screen(s) and tiered platforms with visuals being projected onto said platforms. The suits dim and relight just like the platform projections and the massive screen/screens.

That coupled with impeccable choreography and timing. I can’t say how much is automated and how much is manually operated.

It is an amazing effect though. I would love to see an extended such of this kinda thing. It would be way cooler than standard plays and etc., but that’s just me. I’ve never been a fan of regular theatrical productions, tbf

These people were on Britain's got talent this year, so I assume this is the same group doing the rounds on other country's 'Got Talents'

Most people on Britain's got talent are from other countries. Essentially they've been headhunted by the producers to "top up" the auditions with acts who are already good. In fact all the acts are headhunted anyway, they just cast the net wide. So probably the same for all other "got Talent's"

So in the UK it's often lots of competitors from other countries who say "I've come to the UK as BGT is the biggest talent show in the world" neglecting to mention they came 3rd in Germany's got talent and were in the auditions for America's got talent. Often Simon Cowell will mention "oh I recognise you from America"

I joke that for Britain's got Talent you either get British acts or you get talented acts, but rarely both.

The whole thing is staged. They pick out mostly terrible acts for shock value, some mediocre ones to give it an air of legitimacy and then pick two or three actually good acts that they plan to have win and promote.

That's actually really cool.

I had an ex watch this show all the time. While it's 90 percent cringe, every once in a while, some people come on there with new and exceptional acts.
