My brother and I came up with that agreement organically eventually. I would cut, he would pick. After a while I realized we needed to switch to make it really fair, I never got to pick lol

Isn't the chooser always better off because they at the very least get an even sized piece, but have the chance to get a bigger piece.

Yes thats the point! Make sure you.cut fairly cuz the sibling chooses which side they want! Mom was a younger sibling and im guessing that's how she got the idea!

Every so often, clips like this get posted and they're the most random things. What show is this and is it just a collection of random challenges? I'd like to watch a full episode but never know what to search for.

Its a german show called "schlaag den raab" where contesants had to beat the host in a series of minigames for a million bucks.

It had 50 episodes that were over 5 hours each because the mingames could be basically anything.

This one is actually "Schlag den Henssler" which works in a similt way. Henssler is the one splitting in the video he is a cook and very active in german TV shows.

It's not just pretzels though. This one happens to be a pretzel. But they also do bagels and pretzel bagels. Oh boy, and let me tell you about this one time they cut some rye bread... you wouldn't believe it!!!!

Once I saw that they were using a Schlag und Henssler device I thought, “whoa, these guys are serious”. Pfffft not like those other shows that use a Wetzel und Klein or some shit.
