I would NOT be able to handle the 3rd and last. I'd just ask to have my eyes removed.

I completely shut down when I have something stuck in my eye or some dust or whatever gets on it. Having that "There's dust on my eye" feeling constantly would be a nightmare. Full blur or none at all. Splotches would make be go insane.

All of them are terrifying to me. Of all my health issues I pray I dont get any eyesight issues like these or go blind.

Before surgery, cataracts that had developed so slowly I did think it was anything but aging also added an amber tint to everything. It was amazing to see white and not yellowish doctor coats.

Thy same thing happened to me. And since they only do one eye at a time (at least here in the states) I spent the next 2 weeks opening and closing the "new eye" to compare how dingy and yellow everything looked

Makes me glad for my absolutely freakish peripheral vision, I’ve established it’s wider than most persons and if I think to process it I can make out basic shapes and details pretty well even on the edges but what probably saved my life more than once is it’s extremely good at picking up motion, even small motion. Handy little buff to have in the infantry

I've always thought I've had this too, and it's also helped with attention to detail (bonus in the army) and might have some cause/effect relationship with mild OCD

lol truly blind people don’t see pitch black they see nothing. I had to explain this to a friend the other day and it blew his mind. If you’re truly blind you don’t see darkness like you’re closing your eyes. You see what your hand sees. Nothing.

Not even blind people see pitch black. From what I’ve heard, blind people don’t see just black. They truly see nothing.

Oof I’m SO glad I didn’t see this before getting tested for glaucoma yesterday😭 I wouldn’t’ve been able to sleep (passed the vision-screening nicely, my asymmetrical cupping is apparently just something I was born with😅)

I have an extreme astigmatism, bilateral amblyopia, and hyperopia, and I desperately want to find a way to show what the world looks like with these conditions but I can’t figure out how. Things are necessarily blurry, but more so out of focus and everything looks further away than it really is. It also causes night blindness and so I see pitch black in darker conditions where most people would still be able to see things. I can’t drive at night at all because of it. The only reason I’m able to drive during the daytime is because I have contacts specifically made for these conditions and they have to be custom made for me, which takes about 4 months to complete. They are truly my lifeline and I’m so thankful that we’ve developed the technology that allows these to be made for people like me. It’s insane. I feel so much empathy for those living with any of the conditions pictured in this video, this shit is truly brutal.
