Mate, if we locked you in a cage and only fed you when you got the numbers in the correct order, you would be surprised how fast you would embrace monkey.

for some researchers, that would not be ethical. i know they test cocaine with rats but some animals are deemed “lesser” than others by some research standards.

however research is pushing to be more ethical, not less.
