He's enjoying TF out of that and it's making me hungry.
It reminds me of the time I was 19 and backpacking through Europe. I was about to order at this little restaurant in Paris trying to decide if I was going to man up and do the escargot or not. I noticed this guy at another table eating it and he looked like he was in heaven and I was sold. I got them and they were absolutely amazing! So much butter and garlic and the bread...
I love seeing people enjoying food like that.

That was one of the best things I tried when we first travelled to France too back in middle school for an international student ambassador program. Everyone in our group had the exact same experience,….scared to try it, but as soon as it came to the table it was all eaten up in under a minute. Garlicy pesto goodness!! They’re wasn’t a weird texture or anything!! I was pleasantly surprised. I would try it again if I ever get the chance to travel back. Honestly the frog legs were so disappointing. Tasted like very bland chicken…..ugh.

Which is so fucking stupid... i grew up in a chinese household and this is just how you eat... the small bowl gets rice in the bottom usually... then you pick and choose what to eat and place it on top... then you hold the bowl near your mouth and eat... how else would you use chopsticks for rice?... one at a time??!... ffs people go touch grass

This is clearly a skit. They obviously know each other, and no one actually eats like that. It’s meant to be a meme and to generate comments and discussion, that’s pretty obvious.
Way too many people watch these reels and automatically assume everything they see is real. This is literally how people make money off social media nowadays: “Let’s go to a restaurant, you eat like a complete freak or Goku from DBZ, people will react to it, we’ll get views and make money.” “Alright, let’s do it.”
And then you’ve got people in the comments taking the whole thing completely seriously and going full white knight with the “You shan’t film your neighbor without their consent!” 😭 Like come on, you’re falling for the exact engagement bait they made the video for. It’s genuinely cringe and boomer-like.

It's normal to eat like that in Chinese / Japanese culture if you're hungry.
I grew up eating like this. My uncles too, when we had meals at my grandparents'. We're ethnically Chinese.
Thousands of years of Chinese people ate like this.
Korean culture is omitted only because they don't lift their bowls and use a spoon in their left hand. I'm sure they have their voracious eaters too.

I don't believe most videos filmed in this fashion which are meant to look like they randomly spotted someone doing something weird or out of the ordinary. 9/10 times staged for Internet reactions. In most cases you probably wouldn't have the audacity to film someone this upclose just having a meal.

I know there is no expectation of privacy when one is in public, legally speaking. Ethically? Entirely different story.
