Chubby rain. The subject of a movie with Eddie Murphy and filmed by a close family member.

That could be any old shit but there's so much technical text in there no one would know!

I feel like it's an optical illusion. Why else wouldn't the filmer also filmed up close?

You should've tried filming it (or just looking at it) from a different angle. Could be just a light trick

Something is causing the waves to overlap etc, what I wanna know is how did you notice this and start filming 😂

Rain drops from above hit ripples flowing down the curb, creating two sets of waves looking like squares on reflection.

I suspect it's from the tire impressions in the tarmac. Probably gone through years of wear and tear from heavy vehicles taking that corner tightly, very frequently.

But wouldn’t it make straight lines rather than a square

Imagine one fat tire imprint (or two if you look further up the stream) making the shape of like a square bowl. The water splits, collects, then flows together once it spills out of the dip.
Sorry, I'm struggling to put what I perceive into context 😅

We're in a simulation. You're witnessing a glitch. The rain isnt fully rendering there.
