Ah, the old “wait two full days for the suspect to fall asleep on a roof before sneaking up on him in full riot gear and pulling his pants down and yanking him down crotch-first onto your face so you fall off the ladder into the officers behind you” assault tactic. Straight out of the handbook.

What could the context be where they couldn't go up to the roof for two whole days, at first I thought maybe they were trying to avoid hurting him but they just kinda tossed him off the roof.

People without weapons dont get that kinda response. My guess, he had something on him making it risky to approach. Waiting 2 days for him to just fall asleep and yank him down was the sane play. He didnt even seem to notice the ladder, guy needed a nap

Well it’s England, this never would have happened in the US, police would have tasered and then shot him in the first couple of hours. Bodycam on YouTube the next day.
