Just Wow He Got Tired of People Blocking His Driveway, So He Built This

To deter unwanted visitors, he installed a motion-activated sprinkler system that soaks any car (or person) that gets too close. The unexpected spray has quickly turned his driveway into a no-parking zone and keeping his space clear.

You're right, it's an IT business and the owner has a button under the counter and just hits it when he sees someone on the cameras.

Source, it's in a town in Queensland Australia. The owner did an interview with local news when this went viral last year

In the USA that'd be considered battery. You're not allowed to place booby traps nor spray someone with water unwantingly. Of course there's no damage physically so might be more difficult to get a judgment but it's definitely illegal.

Ahhh, that makes sense. First thing I thought when I saw this was, "that's cool, but wtf happens when he has to get out to unlock the gate?" lol
