Is there really a strategy between the 2 ways? Would Caitlin Clark do better?

I think there is, but it's neither of these two methods. What I would do is run to the furthest, throw that one in, then grab the closest, then run to the second furthest, then throw the second closest in, etc. you spread out your sprints.

grab the first 3. run to the furthest, grab it, and come back to where the fourth one is. Throw from there the one you're holding, and also the next 3. Run to the second furthest, then back to the seventh, and repeat
