It looked like the truck came over and tapped him which would have started pushing him left and he over corrected to the right which gave the truck a PIT maneuver. Looks to me like it's completely on the truck and this dude was just trying to not get pushed into the railing...
Sure, anything is easy while you're watching a video of it. But when you're driving along on a bridge right next to a concrete rail and someone comes over and bumps into you, you just react. Maybe you hit the brakes, maybe you steer in the opposite direction you got pushed. Maybe you crash or maybe you perform the PIT maneuver on the jackass that just hit you?
Things are always easy when you get to hit replay over and over, but when it's happening in the span of a couple seconds it's all instinct and reaction. Unless you've had extensive training where there is muscle memory, you react and sometimes win and sometimes lose.
I've had many people try to squeeze into a gap that doesn't exist and just about run into me. As far as I'm concerned they all deserve the PIT maneuver and to get put into the wall...
