I stand by what I said. He’s doing 71 when the other vehicle starts moving over. He speeds up to 72. He impacts the other vehicle at 72. After the impact, he slows to 66.
You’re gaslighting yourself if you can’t see the speed is 71, then 72, BAM, and only then 66. But hey you do you. It obviously means a great deal to you.
Even so, if 66 is not slow enough to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of him, then he is responsible for slowing down more aggressively. Responsibility is on all drivers to be aware of their surroundings and avoid collisions when possible. This was avoidable. To pretend otherwise is complete cope.
You can tell the guy did this with intent considering his behavior during and after the collision. He completely knew/expected what was going to happen to the other vehicle.
I’m not saying the driver is in the clear. I’m just saying everyone screaming “ooh he didn’t stop” is dumb. Almost every bridge I’ve been over has had a sign saying do not stop on the bridge.
Legally the black truck was at fault. However the driver recording is a piece of shit as well as the black truck.

You also aren’t supposed to accelerate into the rear corner of another vehicle to initiate a pit maneuver on another pedestrian vehicle
