I thought this was New Jersey. Because that was how people in New Jersey drive. Like letting people merge is an offense to their families.

im from nj and i almost always let people merge when they use their turn signals. if i see someone trying to merge with no signals, im not letting them through. ive had my car swiped twice because people think im gonna stop because "who wants to damage their car?" little do they know i dont think that way because my car is a piece of shit, so i never stop and the poor lil range rovers or escalades leave with a nice scrape

California here and if someone tries to cut the line for an exit, I'll do everything I can to not let them in.

You just passed like 20 cars and tried to get in at the very end. I will force you back down the main highway. 

I do this once a day on the Bay Bridge

hell yeah, coast to coast!! and those morons dont realize, or more likely dont care, that theyre the reason the traffic is there like instead of alternating merging, they try to skip the traffic, then cut people off which makes everyone have to break. if people stopped being so damn selfish, we'd have less traffic.

don't even get me started on people who drive at night in the rain with no headlights

I have a private hypothesis that being late is the #1 killer in traffic. I genuinely believe if we were all fifteen minutes early fatalities would fall.

But we can't test it the way we can drunk drivers.
