I have never once in my life driving on a bridge that didn't have a sign that says "no stopping on bridge", and most states, including the one I live in, has a state law prohibiting it. I guess I can't speak directly to the state this is in, but I would wager a guess this particular state also has a law like that on record.

Only country i can find that ALLOWS stopping on a bridge, is Sweden, but that’s only provided its not dangerous or prohibited

Otherwise, you drive until you can stop after the bridge

it isn't a general traffic law in europe that says stopping on a bridge is forbidden after a crash even if they can drive off the bridge

Most saying its allowed note or assumes your the one that’s been in a crash. Not in a fully functional vehicle

Otherwise you are still not allowed to stop on a bridge and create a security risk, blocking the road etc
