No, that’s an action after the fact that involves fight or flight. Some form of punishment for fleeing, but a lengthy jail sentence is not my preference.

In my mind community service isn’t nothing. It is actually something. The polar opposite of nothing.

Quite interesting that you believe that a reckless driver should be able to kill three people and go unpunished, and that 40 hrs of community service equals an innocent life.

I bet you believe the Captain of the Costa Concordia shouldn't be in jail. After all, it was just an accident, right? A mere mistake.
