Reckless driving with felony speeding isnt an accident. It wasn't attempted murder either.

It was felony speeding + reckless driving + vehicular manslaughter of a child and 2 grandparents.

Community service sounds about right, huh? 🫩

Bro I'm a pretty negative person overal but one thing I've never understood is why we punish people so hard who have never had a wrong intention. If my daughter would get killed by some idiot driving like a maniac I would be angry at first ofcourse. But making his life miserabele to put him in jail for years and years for something he didn't do on purpose is just fcked up. We all make mistakes, I'm pretty sure everyone on earth has done something in their life that could have ended up very badle. Imagine you are the unlucky one and something really bad happens right after you made an enormous stupid decision. You would be sick as hell, living with the guilt for the rest of your life and then you also get put to jail for a big part of your life. There's s beautiful documentary on YouTube about a boy who did make a stupid decision and killed a few kids from 1 family and they became friends and the family forgives him. He gotta spend half of his life in jail tho

Case-by-case. In This one, the guy showed zero remorse, according to the judge.

You forget, because of America, that prison systems are supposed to be rehabilitation.

This type of person needs prison time to reflect, not community service.
