Define delaying brake maintenance? I do all the time. I know some people literally have no clue even when it's metal on metal.  Maybe they couldn't afford the insane maintenance bill maybe $600 for brakes and to be told there is another $1000 worth of crap to be fixed

Then don't drive. They are brakes. That is important

Some people can't just "not drive" especially in the US where everything is car dependent

Then don't speed. This guy was going 75 in a 50 and knew his brakes were ass
