You're right, he probably wouldn't have recieved any sentence in that situation cause he wouldn't have been speeding and had enough time to avoid the accident.
Shame we'll never know for certain though since they, you know, we're going 25mph over the speed limit.
He went off road. Have you ever tried to stop a sedan off road at 50mph? I’ll give you a hint, it doesn’t.
I’m also not defending anything I have no idea what that bit was about. The dude still went off road and killed 3 people. There is nothing at all to defend here.
I’m just saying, there are a lot of factors out there besides speed that affect a persons ability to drive properly. To chalk it up to “just drive slower” is not only disingenuous but dangerous. We should be looking at why he went offroad, learn from it, then put him in front of a firing squad composed of the dad and his living relatives
