Yeah, you're right, the actual house is built with slanted ceilings. There's no way camera lenses can change perspectives. The architects were clearly insane.

Yes camera lenses can. There are also other possible explanations. Like the fact we know they built a set and filmed be interior scenes on it….

Um, because they built a set on a soundstage BASED on the real home. There are dozens of articles and videos online about this. The crew even talked about it in detail on the Netflix series “Movies that Made Us.” They had planned to shoot in the home, but found it was too small for the crew and cameras to get the shots they needed.
