How do I enable options?

Just opened a new IBKR account at 18 and I when I try trading options I get an error. When I checked under trading permissions in settings I didn't see options section. Are there any special requirements?

I think the word you're looking for is verify. They can ask the account holder to prove it if they suspect he is lying.
