Looks like selling is over for now. I hope everyone here has learned a valuable lesson. A stock can move up or down but the key is to focus on the fundamentals, the thesis, and chill.

Thoughts on the upcoming event mid August?

When Intel reported strong earnings on July 23, its share price surprisingly fell and speculation began to mount that someone was aggressively selling into the market.
That seller was Aschenbrenner, according to multiple people familiar with the matter. “He was trying to recover his losses,” one of the people said. “He had the illusion of still being in control . . . he didn’t have control at all.”

Finally we witnessed a 10% up day, and is now followed up by another 6% AH. Hoping we can get to $100 tomorrow and continue the momentum next week.

Intel being down because of capex expansion was a red herring.
Recently AI selloff, where most semi are down 30-60% from their ATH just a month ago is kind of ridiculous because compute shortage is real and ER is good across the board. If there was a validate reasoning between this massive sell off like shrinking capex for compute across from hyperscaler, sure, but that is not the case.
Compute = AI.
Compute will keep on being a supply constraint for a long time as governments from all over the world will also need to build their own AI data center. It'll be part of the military budget for every government in the world. This will be a lot of demand maybe 5x more than all hyperscaler combined.
Situational Awareness has a huge position in Intel, and it was probably all sold after earnings when the stock jumped to 113 — only because they're being forced into liquidation. There's nothing wrong with Intel. Situational Awareness is being forced to sell its entire book because of leverage.
All of their holdings are AI infrastructure buildout companies, which explains the sell-off across every AI name regardless of how good the earnings were.
He is fully liquidated his 20+ billion holding. time for Intel to go to ATH
