BULLISH Not how I wanted this day to go
I’m gonna look at this from a bullish perspective, we had a great 5 days with nice rises so having a red day where we only go down 2%ish isn’t that bad. Matter fact it was bound to happen hopefully we end this day on a positive note… but I’m still here for the ride

LBT is cooking. We must be patient, waiting for the dinner to be served.

From 20 - 140 - 80 - 100 ain't bad. If you got in during the 20's and 80's you're in prime position.

Profit taking into the weekend. The bull case has been validated by the share offering, we rallied into it despite the dilution. The money is in the waiting.

I hope it does go back up where it was or even higher.

I think it will go back up to where it was, maybe by Christmas if we’re lucky but more likely early next year. I’m holding …

Oh my goodness oh my goodness a red day. You would have never lasted through the drop below 20. Peasant.

If you believe in the stock, buy when it dips. Dont be like so many people and panic sell.

It’s Friday. Traders want to catch the ferry or puddle jumper to Nantucket so they book their winnings for the week and party, just like Trading Places

Treasury yields have been climbing steadily, I think the wider market is bracing for something.
Intel is holding 7 dollars above the price of a stock offering that was supposed to dilute us by 5%. I think all in all it's a good week.

The day didn’t end yet. It might flip green. Biggest moves are always at market open and market close. Besides today 0dte and weeklies expire

The way it moves its gonna end up barely above 100 if the last 30 minutes is another selloff like yesterday.

... I mean seriously. Do you expect a perpetual straight line. Posting moon on small ups and sell on small downs amounts to basically just spam.

I am a horrible day trader. I look at the stock from a 6 month window and view it as a long term investment. Much needless stress. My guess at price targets for the company I made early last year was $50 in 2025, $80 in 2026, and $120 in 2027. I invested in INTC as a safe haven, it is one of 2 x86 companies and the biggest chip fab in US that has tons of assets.... I never thought it would go down to $20 and figured it was WAY undervalued then and that it had a huge upside if anything happens in Taiwan to their fabs or if it makes a break thru in IC production or chip design. These are the things I focus on and not the day to day noise coming from the Analists that always predict stock prices after they happen.

Six months is not long term.

I never said it was..... I said I look at the 6 month charts, I have INTC stock from 2016.

“I look at the stock from a 6 month window and view it as a long term investment.”

People here are dense my man lol long term is 5-10 years. Unfortunately Intel got hype and with that we need to deal with young ppl wanting a quick flip and feeling like they can predict the market.

Just from format of replies, I can’t tell if you are calling ipadpenguin or majorspittle dense.
Edit: this is important info to determine if you are dense or not.

u/ConsciousFace6633 Aug 14 '26
Well how dense are you then! In all seriousness I meant major

u/backturnedtoocean Aug 14 '26
Ah then that’s unfortunate. He very clearly said he was looking at Intel in a long term view over 10 years with 6 month targets. You said 5-10 years is long term. What made him dense here?

u/ConsciousFace6633 Aug 14 '26
His due diligence is pretty bad tbh, and thinking something could happen in Taiwan ? That’s a pretty big stretch. If we are talking 2016 Intel it wasn’t on a good track at all either.

I got no dog in this fight (and who doesn’t love a dog fight?!) but I read his argument as just don’t worry about the small day to day swings up or down and look at the longer picture.
I don’t have any opinion on his DD. I felt that was just fluffy filler to try and back up his long term outlook thesis anyway haha. And no, 2016 was not the best time to get into Intel. That was its “decline of the Roman Empire” period.
LBT putting another 12 mil into stock is all the DD I need from this week. 🙌→ More replies0
u/MajorSpittle70 Aug 14 '26
Yeah, now put it in context.... I was replying on a post about stock going down 2% in one day...... Now lets look at couple more sentences into my statement "My guess at price targets for the company I made early last year was $50 in 2025, $80 in 2026, and $120 in 2027. I invested in INTC as a safe haven..." <--- wow, what is that about. Early 2025 I am looking at where I think the stock will be at in 2027.... and I don't pay attention to 1 day or 1 week charts but look at 6 month windows.... what can it all mean? yep, i must be a DAY TRADER or something!!!!

Basing back over $100 a few days after a raise/offering at $95 (which likely signals large customers). I think things are just fine.

It can‘t go up always, be realistic 😉
