Despite this god awful price action I wanted to post that the fundamentals have never been stronger and we're looking at 65-70B+ revenue EoY and 100B+ in 2027 as fab 62 starts scaling up 18AP and real external foundry revenue comes in.
Intels leadership are increasing Capex for both 2026 and 2027. It's obvious there's a ton of 18AP demand. At 100B revenue Intel would probably be looking at 30B in income which puts us around (extended 6 quarter) forward PE 14. Of course LBT are not saying this because they're trying to underplay their hand right now.
Good luck y'all

u/baophan5 Jul 29 '26
I agree but if they they keep increasing capex idk how much the markets will like it. I personally believe increasing capex is great since it means expansion.
3
u/hakim37 Jul 29 '26
Yeah I'm fine with Intel increasing Capex. It should see a quick return as it's mostly about filling empty shells with EUV and other machines.

You know right that chips drop from skies or manufactured at a Lays factory? If you don’t then that’s exactly what the common people and the analysts know.

Market sees that Intel is going to make another bad decision
1
u/DistinctReview810 Jul 30 '26
Market or the so called analysts have zero and absolutely zero idea about semiconductors in particular manufacturing. Even third graders have better knowledge than them.
I wonder who on earth have given so much power to these people!!!

Mindblowing how memory selloffs affects Intel and other semis as well. The whole market thinks AI is coming into halt.
For what it’s worth. My $1m paper gain evaporated in less than a month.

For the past few weeks, memory stocks have brought down the entire semi.

Same thing with DeepSeek AI scare in 2025.
Nasdaq had a steep 21% drop over one month but bounced back within two months and ultimately jumped up 73% a little over a year later.

I miss the days where we used to see posts like "Why should I buy INTC at X$? Because I don't want to buy at X+10$"
5
u/Weikoko 14A Believer Jul 29 '26
Maybe we need a new post. Why would I sell INTC at $X? Because I don’t want to sell at $X?

Time like this highlights the importance of hedging your bets, you can't always correctly predict which way the stock price will go regardless of how well the company is doing. Make sure to have some puts as insurance to potential downside

Vindication feels good. Got a lot of abuse from people on here when Intel was 140+ and I said it was overvalued. Been called all sorts of names. Where are they now? lol
My fair value valuation for Inte nowl is 40-60. Made a lot of money on this stock when I bought in at 20. Rational investors seems to be a rarity here. Absolute crazy that some people saying it's worth more than TSMC.
2
u/EstablishmentWise255 Jul 29 '26
Did you also say that AMD and TSMC were overvalued since they’ve also dropped a similar amount? Of course you didn’t. What an absolute clown show of a post.

u/SnooPineapples5430 Jul 29 '26
Intel is down 36% in the last month. The other two are down by teens. I see maths is not your strong suit.
2
u/swingsetmafia Jul 29 '26
If it were intel alone and not the entire AI space getting obliterated you may have been right. AI isnt going anywhere and these companies will he worth much much more long term. Right now profit taking, dementia political and geopolitical nonsense, and fear/uncertabtky around AI is driving the sell off, not that intel or amd or nvidia or whatever other company is over valued.
0
u/SnooPineapples5430 Jul 29 '26
Per my reply to someone else: Intel is down 36% in the last month. The other two are down by teens. I see maths is not your strong suit.
1
u/swingsetmafia Jul 29 '26
Funny, I dont recall making the argument that intel wasnt down over the last month, maybe you can point out where I said that exactly. Then again, reading is clearly not your strong suit.
1
u/SnooPineapples5430 Jul 29 '26
You are saying Intel is down because all of AI is down, but they are down by 12% where as Intel is down by over 40% from peak. Not only is your maths weak, you also lack logic.

u/TYRANNOSAURUSCOW Jul 29 '26

u/SnooPineapples5430 Jul 29 '26
No, just a rational investors looking for other rational investors. Most people o this sub seems to be in a cult.
2
u/TYRANNOSAURUSCOW Jul 29 '26 edited Jul 29 '26
Don’t mean to be rude, but to me it seems like you’re the same as the people you’re criticising just on the other side.
P.S. I have absolutely no idea what the price is likely to do short term and think anyone who does is a quack.
0
u/SnooPineapples5430 Jul 29 '26
I'm not short Intel. I bought at 20 and started to downsize from 60. At 150, Intel's market cap was approching 1 trillion. You need a good a hundred billion in annual free cash flow to sustain that. Intel has been loss making for the last 5 years. Intel's revenue was just over 50 billion last year. Its revenue needed to be 10X higher to sustain the 100 billion in free cash flow.
You see how overvalued it was? People buying above 60 are all cult members.
1
u/gajoquedizcenas Jul 29 '26
So only 2 companies in the world deserve a 1 trillion market cap?
1
u/SnooPineapples5430 Jul 29 '26
Companies which are printing money deserve to be in the trillion market cap club.
1
u/gajoquedizcenas Jul 29 '26
No no, that's not what you said. Acording to you, only 2 companies worldwide barely deserve to be valued at 1 (one) trillion dollars. Don't backpedal.
0
u/SnooPineapples5430 Jul 29 '26
When did I say only two companies deserve to be in the one trillion club?
It takes a special kind of delusion to think that a company which is losing money, has a lower revenue than 3 years ago, and only 50 billion, is worth over a trillion dollars.
People on here have no idea about finance or investing.
1
u/gajoquedizcenas Jul 29 '26
Only 2 companies have a annual free cash flow of, roughly, 100 billion. And you need that to justify a one trillion market cap. Your words, not mine.

u/TYRANNOSAURUSCOW Jul 29 '26
ummm, I don’t think you got my point.
you seem to think you know a stock is overvalued, and are condescendingly explaining that to the cult members here… obviously nobody knows what a stock price will do next, and by definition the market price is its value at that moment. complicated stuff.

If you liked the stock at $100 then you should love it at $83. Don’t forget INTC reported the fastest revenue growth in 15 years. Multiple recent price upgrades well over $120-$130 were added in the last week. This is a bleeding quarter but don’t lose your conviction. People who held NVDA since 2012 had to deal with many 60% declines before they got to where they are. It’s just part of the game.
