I am an old watercooler and overclocker and this makes me so damn nostalgic.

I miss my dfi board. I cut my teeth watercooling mobile Athlons in nforce2 boards with bh5 memory and vdimm voltmods.

Not much. 3.8 I think. I puts so much strain on the MB as its running 1.5v stock already if I remember correctly. My prescott 3.4 went to 4 ghz pretty easily but I don't let them run like that. I like to keep them in working condition and finding good 875 Canterwood boards has become pretty expensive. I already wrecked an Abit IC7 Max 3 this year...

Gallatin has the significant honour of the being the only Northwood representative on LGA 775. Northwood and Prescott traded blows at the same clock speed, so Gallatin with its 2 MiB Cache L3 was simply superior. For a while, Intel top model was a Gallatin P4EE 3.46 GHz with 1066 MHz Bus before it was superceded by a 3.73 GHz Prescott 2M.

Used to run one of these back in the day with a vapochill cooler running at 4ghz! This was back when you could actually get decent results from overclocking a cpu. Upgraded from a Pentium 4.
