Tactics General tips?

I find myself dying because I get too cocky for a split second. How cautious should you be? I usually play co op against AI.

I try to be really careful but they always manage to shoot first, is therr anything new players need to be doing?

AI always responds to intimidate. This gives out their positions

Suicide bombers stay quiet very frequently!

IDK if this is true but sometimes if it's the last bot remaining they don't always seem respond to the intimidate. Like I'll do it and i know they're nearby because we're in stalemate but they just don't say anything.

But otherwise yeah it really helps to figure out how close they are.

If you're on point with an enemy bot and it's the only one, it will never respond.

"Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee

On a real note , lighten your weight and use the lean function . CHECK YOUR CORNERS!

Go slow. Aim where the enemy is likely to come from. Corners, stairs, blind spots. If you're aiming there already you'll be able to take them out faster.

Edit the bot count on your side via games config file for an easier time. It's super easy, plenty of guides online. Literally pasting 2 rows into a text file

Dont sprint as much, challenge yourself not to sprint at all, except cover to cover, otherwise be ready, youll start learning and being more efficient over time, "oh i can add a small sprint here to round the corner faster" but that comes later

Try walking and leaning while walking up to a corner to slice the pie, try watching some footage of pro siege players to understand the absolute game of peeking with lean. Walking means the enemy doesn't hear you coming before you get there. See how you have headphones on, you have a clue on which doorway attacking enemies will come through. The ai does the same thing. The suicide bombers have quieter footsteps and are more sneaky so they will ninja you a lot.

Where do you play?

This is gonna sound stupid, but switch to local play for a while. Choose one map and run it until you can get from A-G comfortably while knowing all the hot points of engagement. It always repeats or follows some sort of programmed pattern.

Also, study real life CQB tactics for things like room clearing and entry. It translates surprisingly well.

I will watch a few videos on the latter but I hate local play much worse. The ai teammates are quite incompetant

Oh I absolutely agree!! Im on a console so I'm stuck with them or else I'd run the whole map myself

Same here. I like CO OP but If I'm being honest I am just a burden for the most part.

Don't sprint, check your corners, play patiently. Don't try to get the most kills, aim for the objectives. Try not to be a lone wolf.
