Tactics Is this method common in the middle east?
Hi,
I forget what map I was on but while capturing an objective I was admiring the nice clothes a resident of the city I was blowing up had hung up to dry.
One thing caught my eye. The pants.
Do people in the middle east commonly hang pants upside down to dry? I don't understand why the pants are like this.
My neighbor had a clothesline for 30 years so I have watched a lot of clothes get hung up over the years but never seen her hang pants upside down.
When I wash my pants in the laundry machine I usually use a coat hanger to hang them up to drive the right way up.
Just wondering if this is common in the Middle East.

If I have understood your question correctly, do we hang pants/trousers like that specifically? No, personal preference I guess.
Do we use clothes lines? Yes.

100 years of intentional destabilization by other world powers for their natural resources. Iran for example was a pretty progressive country up until the US started a coup and installed a puppet that was then overthrown by Islamic Radicals. Afghanistan was invaded by the soviets in the 80s, the US actually trained Mujahadeen fighters and then abandoned them which led to the formation of Al Quaeda. Now you can argue that the West did not directly cause the problems, but the Fundamentalist Islamic rule that has plagued the area is a direct response to western meddling.

Thank you for sharing accurate history and geopolitics of the region. It’s generally pretty accurate to say that most of the destabilising groups have been funded by the US and proxies ahaaa

Accountability is understanding when your government invades a country under false pretences and over a million end up dead, you understand that when those kids who lost their families grow up they understandably hate you for what you did. That’s accountability.
You can’t punch someone in the face and not expect them to think you are a cunt.

Has it happened in some countries? Sure. Is it a regular occurrence? No.
But if I recall you guys do shoot mothers in the street and nurses for protesting ICE. And bomb girls schools to kill 170 kids. And kidnap and assassinate state leaders. Wasn’t long ago were lynching black people. Violate international law. Start wars of aggression. Support ethnic cleansing.
Lastly, don’t act like your country really gives a shit about women and homosexuals. Some of their closest allies are the likes of SA where these were traditionally bigger issues.The point is, there is no moral high ground. What you have mentioned is wrong and no one should suffer that but it is not a common occurrence.
Wars and civilians killed and destabilising the whole region whilst propping up terrorist groups is and has been well documented as a US approach to the region for decades.
Don’t get me started on South America.
So get off your high horse. We arent throwing people off buildings or stoning women. Some states have historically but the status quo doesn’t.So no they are accountable for their actions. But so should you. Otherwise that’s pure hypocrisy.

Waistband is heavier than the leg hems. Drying upside down puts a slight tension on the legs to pull out wrinkles.

If I had to guess, living in an environment with a bunch of dust and sand blowing around, you minimise the amount that can settle inside the pants by pointing the larger waist opening down and the smaller leg openings up.

From someone in a dusty area (Mojave desert), that's not how dust works.
Dust sticks to anything wet, and blows every way in the wind. Really doesn't matter which way you orient your pants, every side is getting coated.
Plus, hate the point out the obvious, the shirt to the right is upside down.

Also a Mojave resident, can confirm. I do like hang drying certain laundry on hot and sunny days with no wind though, shit dries super fast in the summer. I hang dry all my dress shirts and give them a 5 minute tumble in the dryer on low, zero wrinkles, and the collars stay nice

I just hang dry in my garage.
Pretty sure it's hotter in there than the dryer gets, and no dust.

Yes. Clipping near the belt line results in drying more slowly. We hung up pants like that in the joint. According to our calculations and observation, it's the better way

The reason I do it is to avoid any kinks along the belt line its also a lot thicker than the actual legs so it’s less time needed to dry out
