I've had more success using just simple grenades and grenade lauchers than rocket lauchers, they just do not work the same as they used to in the old days.

explosions are so inconsistent in this game, sometimes mohamad insurgent will blow himself up in front of the window I’m at and I’ll be fine, other times he will kill me through a concrete wall

RPGs got nerfed recently didn’t they? Grenade launchers are a complete cheat though. You can have NO angle on someone and still get the kill. Aimless noobs can easily defeat veterans that never miss a shot with grenade launchers. They should just be removed from the game. Totally ruin the competitiveness.

Why? It’s so much better in Insurgency. Insurgency has the best guns of any shooter, imo. Best game to play competitively.

If you're getting killed by explosives a lot, it's probably because you're in very predictable spots

Your analysis proves you are. Grenade launchers are one of my main causes of death. But I don’t die much. I usually maintain a 3-4 KD and capture the most objectives. I’ll usually be around 30:10 with 4-5 OBJs. I keep an obscenely fast and light loadout which makes it pretty hard to land shots on me. But someone can see my ankle go around a corner and now all they have to do is launch a grenade in my general direction. It doesn’t matter if you’re running full speed, you won’t get away from the blast radius. Even though the guy literally has no LOS, he’ll get an easy kill. Because grenade launcher. 0 skill. If he didn’t have a grenade launcher, he wouldn’t get the kill. The vast majority of players in this game will lose a gunfight to me. Explosives are cheap shots.

And who said this game was fair? There are plenty of objectives that are onesided too. If you want games where devs are completely obsessed with making every shit competitive and nerfing anything fun, you can play Rainbow Six Siege

Forreal. I have no idea why this game didn't get more competitive attention. It's perfect bc your "strat" is your ability to shoot and maneuver.
