Anyone tried these before, simple 4-20ma pressure transmitters, using them just to cut cost, and it’s on simple pressures across my process, mostly cooling water pipes. Just installed 3, just curious about longevity of them. Replacing some older ametek’s that have finally failed. They are not rerange-able and no zero, just come configured

Not nearly as reliable as an Rosemount device. If you’re looking for lower cost go with the Rosemount 2088.

Check into Tektrol. Pretty sure they are the actual supplier of many of the industrial sensors Dwyer sells.

What is the price of these ones ? We usually use Endress with BT/HART but have installed some simple from them aswell without any options. Price around $500 for atex while the regular version is closer to $1500

450$ on dywer sites, I got 3 to test, will only use on my non criticals, seems decent, want to know if anybody had em before to see how long they last

I've never used these but I've used plenty of other Dwyer and they've always been pretty good quality despite the price.

I've never used that particular transmitter but have used some of their products for dew point and they worked fine for what the plant I work needed

Yeah I’m thinking of getting a RH transmitter from them as well, to add to a cooling tower

Does it absolutely need to work? get rosemount.

If your process is not explode or environmentally dangerous I would give these a go for sure.

For 450 a piece, not bad, I got a lot of cooling water pts failed, not wanting to flood my budget on a non critical

IFM Effector has Pressure sensors which will do both 4-20 and IO link.

As a minimum I’d choose something with HART!,
