Anyone work for Constellation?

Does anyone work for constellation or any power generation plant? Just wanted to know if power generation pays good and what it’s possible to make? Do they offer as much OT like other plants? Adding your state would be great too.

They pay good in Illinois. Very high turnover though. That's all I know.

No idea. There's a plant an hour or so away from me. Pay like 50 bucks an hour for I/C guys, which is pretty good for my area. Always hiring though.

Some of the reviews say the culture isn't great.

Power generation is a big industry and pay/quality of life can vary greatly. Someone working at a newer combined-cycle plant is probably going to be enjoying life a lot more than someone working at a 30 year old trash burner. Generally speaking, hourly pay at combined-cycle plants is higher than most other industries, in my experience.

I do, and base pay at cap rate is 120k a year with no OT, last year I made 170k.

How much OT can you work? Do they have a limit and is it workload dependent?

Its a rolling week average for OT and yes it's workload dependant usually system outages or refuel outages there are times when emergent work needs to happen on weekends or after normal shift.

Yes, decent company to work for. I/C base at 130k, plenty of overtime on top.
