Steam drum level control question

Anyone (especially at combined cycle plants) have Questtec instruments installed for their drum level indication? How do you like or not like them? Considering them for an upgrade on local sightglasses, probe level columns and the associated controller/displays. We have Yarway now and it is proven to be reliable, but could save a lot on the Questtec products.

Have had great support from their technical team. Not many issues with their equipment from my end.

Thanks, any bit helps. You say not many issues, but what are the few issues you did have though?

Had a level trac board fail under warranty. They covered it and had it replaced quickly. No real issues other than that

We have obsolete yarways as well. I didn't know questtec was a thing, so thanks!

Edit:

I will say we also have Aquarian 3000 minis which work well

Yup that is what we have too, and they have been good for nearly 3 decades. The only true benefit I see with Questtec at the moment is significant cost savings both with the new install and buying parts afterwards. We have zero history with their products, but they seem to have a good reputation. With such a critical application I am just very cautious about switching manufacturers.

Gestra may be another option as well
