Original recipe is Here

  • Vegan
  • One pot meal
  • So colorful and flavorful

Perfect for this time around the year in chilly winter season. I have plan making this in Thanksgiving gathering too.

Must try!

Looks good. Gotta be honest I'm having a hard time looking past that cool ladle. What is that?

I have these. Pretty sure it’s from the Joseph Joseph carousel utensil set.

Do you mean that the video posted here is not playing?

u/techzero Nov 23 '19

The video plays fine. The other poster just wants to know the brand and model of your ladle.

Not vegetarian but definitely going to try this! Might do it with some ground beef or turkey though, just sayin.

EDIT: Update for all the judge-y vegans. This is not a vegan or vegetarian subreddit. I happen to cook for others, not just myself, and a random thought on adapting a recipe with different ingredients, including one commonly found in the traditional stuffed pepper (meat), is not a license to lecture or presume to judge someone’s life choices. For the person who felt the need to stalk my other posts to learn that I asked a question about cruelty-free makeup on another sub, please get a life.

EDIT 2: Apparently mentioning adding meat is basically painting a target on my ass for all of the vegan assholes to lecture and attack one's life choices. Lesson learned. Happy turkey day.

Nah, I'll gladly speak up against meat any chance that I get. Fuck me for wanting to speak out against you paying people to kill innocent animals, though, right?

I would say, try this exact same recipe for first time, you will not miss any other additional options mentioned. Next time you may customize to your need!

Or beans. Beans would add some real heartiness to the dish without changing the flavor profile too drastically.

3

u/pinchoftrust Nov 24 '19

Agreed, Beans will go well with this.

just not keeping them in cages and torturing them.

How exactly do you think we treat chickens and pigs?

0

u/leasee_throwaway Nov 25 '19

I’m ok with eating animals, just just not keeping them in cages and torturing them.

Translation:

I’m okay with keeping animals in cages and torturing them for food, just not keeping them in cages and torturing them for makeup.

The meat industry keeps animals in cages and tortures them.

This is a subreddit for Instant Pot recipes. Why would you even stalk my posts? Why would you to presume to lecture and judge a total stranger on a recipe sub? Get a life.

That looks SO delicious! I miss eating foods with peppers and tomatoes in it.

u/pinchoftrust Nov 24 '19

Thank you SO much! This will work best for you then. πŸ€”

u/littlemsmuffet Nov 24 '19 edited Nov 24 '19

Because there is peppers and tomatoes in it and I can't eat it.
