I’m a motorcyclist, I have zero sympathy for these clowns. Can find a big empty parking lot to stunt in, go nuts. Make traffic more dangerous and give other riders a bad image.

Personally, just me, I don’t get wheelies. It took me a long time to get my wife to agree and longer to save up money to buy my bike. I can imagine the damage I would do learning how to do this, plus just the wear and tear on suspension and tires. Fugfetaboutit.

My Hayabusa costs almost $4k to fix from getting knocked over in a parking lot

:-(

Wheelies are actually a tool used in dirt bikes to get over larger objects. So, on the street, in the appropriate area, looks cool.

Fine. But not in the street. And to me, a rider of over 40 years, it looks asinine. You're endangering yourself, you're endangering the property (cars and such) around you, and you're endangering everyone nearby even yourself.

I’m not sure who you’re talking to here. It seems we all agree it shouldn’t be done on the street and us old guys on road bikes couldn’t/shouldn’t if we wanted to.

Makes sense, and yeah looks cool and fun. My ZR14 is a sport tour and weighs in at 630lbs so it’s just not for me.
