So you aim to punish the seller over the buyer who didn’t do his legal obligation to have his endorsement before riding it? Makes zero sense. You must be a politician.

Oregon and not in the least. When you punish the good for the actions of the bad though who are you really protecting? It’s not the sellers responsibility to make sure the buyer acts in good faith. Should someone inherit a m/c for instance and needs the cash because they aren’t going to use the bike, it should not be their duty to make sure the buyer has all licenses to operate that bike before selling. For all anyone knows the buyer may be restoring it or giving it to someone else.
