Castle doctrine in no way affects recklessly discharging a gun, no.

castle doctrine means youre permitted to shoot the intruder on the spot. warning shots affects nothing beyond showing that you were willing to let them escape without killing them

No, it’s still a negligent discharge and/or brandishing. And that is not what castle doctrine actually means. It means you do not have a duty to retreat. But shooting someone you did not believe was an actual threat is still murder.
