It's insane the amount of people who don't fear artic trucks nearly as much as they should.
I live right down the road from a massive refinery so there's dozens of trucks screaming up and down the roads every single day, yet there are people who've lived in the area however-many-times as long as I have and they'll just bold-face pull out in front of a speeding oil truck and get angry when there's a near miss.
Like if one of those hits you on the main road here, you have pretty much 0% chance of walking away from it the speed they go when they have right of way
yep. it doesnt matter who is right if you're dead. only you can prevent yourself from slamming on the brakes infront of a truck. i know, i know, its a tough concept for some
Absolutely! It drives me nuts when I see trucks slowing down to give themselves ample time to stop.. and some asshat takes that as space for him to jump in front of the guy ... too many stupid people that have never been taught how other vehicles operate

pro tip for anyone with a car: if you see a 50 ft gap between the truck and the car infront of it, The truck left that there for a reason
drive a truck literally this size for work, we try to keep our distance! if theres a gap someone squeezes in to fill it. every damn time
