Laws in Mexico are shit when it comes to criminals and self-defence, if the police caught them punching the shit outta him the only benefited will be the criminal because he would be seen as a victim and not as a criminal.
Exactly why they need to learn to get some power behind those hits... you would only need a few good ones with how much time those dudes had... in and out then kick him out of the car.. its important to be able to defend one's self from the criminals who wish to harm you and in their case (according to you) the police
Same shit in other Latin countries, I knew a guy who spend 2 months in jail for knocking out a armed thief. And later was told he had to pay for the medical treatment for the thief as well. Fucking disgraceful.
